CloudSEK Strengthens DACH Presence with Appointment of Oliver Ott as Regional Sales Director

CloudSEK Strengthens DACH Presence with Appointment of Oliver Ott as Regional Sales Director

Munich, 24 September 2026 – CloudSEK is strengthening its presence in the German-speaking market with the appointment of Oliver Ott as Regional Sales Director DACH, effective 21 September 2026. He will lead the company’s business development across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with a mandate to expand enterprise engagement, win strategic customers and build a scalable partner and channel ecosystem.

The appointment supports CloudSEK’s broader development in Europe and is designed as a market-building initiative rather than a conventional sales leadership change. CloudSEK currently positions its technology as a “Predictive Attack Graph Platform for the AI Era”. Its graph-based intelligence connects signals across external attack surfaces (including the fast-growing AI attack surface), identities, brand risk, data leaks, supply chains, threat intelligence and other sources to identify, validate and help disrupt attack paths before they result in breaches.

This approach addresses a growing challenge for security teams. External cyber risk rarely presents itself as one isolated event. Attackers combine exposed credentials, misconfigured infrastructure, impersonation campaigns, third-party weaknesses and intelligence from the deep and dark web to create viable routes into an organisation. Security teams therefore need more than a high volume of alerts: they need context that shows which signals connect, which paths are exploitable and which risks require immediate attention.

“Germany, Austria and Switzerland are strategically important to CloudSEK’s continued development in Europe. We intend to expand our presence with enterprises and partners across the region and engage more directly with its specific market requirements. Oliver brings extensive experience in enterprise cybersecurity, a strong understanding of the DACH market and a proven ability to build durable customer and partner relationships. These capabilities will be instrumental as we enter the next phase of our regional growth,” said Gurdip Singh, VP Sales & Partnerships EMEA & APAC at CloudSEK.

Ott brings extensive experience across cybersecurity, identity and access management, and enterprise sales. From 2016 to 2024, he worked for THALES DIS in Munich, most recently as Regional Sales Director IAM. His background includes working with large organisations on the protection of digital identities and critical infrastructure, as well as developing strategic customer relationships across the DACH region.

At CloudSEK, Ott will take on an entrepreneurial market development and growth mandate. In addition to building direct relationships with strategic customers and security leaders, he will focus on developing a strong regional ecosystem of resellers, MSSPs and technology partners. CloudSEK’s Partner Acceleration Programme provides dedicated engagement models for resellers, technology alliances and managed security service providers.

“My work in identity and access management has shown me how critical it is to protect digital identities and access paths. Organisations now need to extend that view and understand what adversaries can already see outside their perimeter, and how those signals can be combined into viable attack paths. CloudSEK brings graph-based intelligence and AI-assisted prioritisation to that problem. My goal is to build a durable DACH business with customers and partners and establish CloudSEK as a relevant regional choice for identifying and disrupting external cyber risk before it becomes an incident,” said Oliver Ott, Regional Sales Director DACH at CloudSEK.

CloudSEK’s portfolio includes XVigil for Digital Risk Protection, BeVigil for Attack Surface Monitoring, SVigil for Supply Chain Monitoring and AIVigil for AI Attack Surface Monitoring, complemented by threat intelligence and AI-based analysis capabilities. These solutions provide signals to the broader attack graph and help security teams identify exposed assets, leaked credentials, brand abuse and potential attack chains earlier.

The immediate DACH priorities include building structured customer and partner engagement, developing joint routes to market and creating closer dialogue with CISOs and security leaders. Over the longer term, CloudSEK and Ott aim to establish the company as a recognised and relevant provider of Predictive Attack Path Intelligence, AI Attack Surface Monitoring, External Threat Intelligence and Digital Risk Protection across the German-speaking market.
