CloudSEK Delivers 13x Returns to Early Institutional Investors Through ₹95 Cr Secondary

Bengaluru, India: CloudSEK today announced a partial exit by early investor Exfinity Venture Partners. The transaction delivered a 13x multiple on invested capital (MOIC) and an internal rate of return (IRR) of more than 40%, through a secondary sale to existing investors.

CloudSEK is an AI-native predictive cyber intelligence platform that identifies attack paths and initial access vectors before they are exploited. Exfinity continues to hold a meaningful stake.

Exfinity was the first institutional investor in CloudSEK, backing the company during its pre-Series A round and supporting its vision of building a predictive, intelligence-led cybersecurity platform at a time when the market was largely focused on reactive threat detection.

Since then, CloudSEK has evolved into a unified predictive attack graph platform. It helps enterprises identify initial access vectors and predict how attackers will chain them into real attack paths across external threats, AI systems, and third-party ecosystems. By correlating dark web signals, AI attack surface risks, and supply chain exposures, CloudSEK enables organizations to disrupt attack paths before execution and move from reactive incident response to predictive attack disruption.

CloudSEK combines external threat intelligence (XVigil), AI attack surface intelligence (BeVigil), and continuous third-party risk monitoring (SVigil) into a unified AI-native predictive cyber intelligence platform. Nexus AI correlates these signals into validated attack paths, showing how attackers move across identity, exposure, and access. This enables security teams to move from alerts to validated attack paths and prioritize risks that can lead to real attack chains.

CloudSEK has demonstrated strong commercial momentum, with approximately $15 million in ARR and consistent year-on-year growth. The company has established itself as a global cybersecurity partner, with over 60% of its net new revenue driven from international markets, and the United States emerging as its fastest-growing region. Its customer base includes leading enterprises across banking, telecom, aviation, and digital platforms, reflecting strong product-market fit in complex, large-scale environments.

In early 2025, CloudSEK raised over $20 million across its Series B rounds, including participation from global investors such as Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT) and Connecticut Innovations. Its strategic relationship with Commvault is expected to strengthen CloudSEK’s global go-to-market motion, particularly in the United States, enabling deeper enterprise penetration and accelerating its next phase of growth.

The rise of AI-native threats is reshaping enterprise security. Attackers are using automation to identify vulnerabilities and chain them into complex attack paths. CloudSEK is built for this shift. The platform detects initial access vectors across external threats, AI systems, and third-party ecosystems, and predicts how they evolve into attack paths before execution. Nexus AI prioritizes these risks based on exploitability and attacker behavior, helping security teams disrupt attack chains early.

As enterprises expand their digital footprint across AI systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and third-party ecosystems, the external attack surface is becoming more complex. CloudSEK provides continuous visibility into how attackers discover and exploit these exposures. It helps organizations understand not just what is vulnerable, but how those weaknesses connect into real attack paths.

CloudSEK also represents a strong example of India-origin deep-tech innovation scaling globally. With R&D anchored in India and a growing international footprint, the company is solving mission-critical cybersecurity challenges for enterprises across financial services, government, technology, and telecom sectors.

“CloudSEK is one of the clearest examples of what Indian deep-tech can achieve on the global stage. Our early conviction in Rahul and his team has been validated by the company’s ARR trajectory, enterprise client quality, and now, by the confidence of a global strategic player like Commvault. This is a calibrated partial exit - we remain invested and excited about what comes next,” said Chinnu Senthilkumar, Managing Partner at Exfinity Venture Partners.

These outcomes reinforce Exfinity’s long-standing belief that India can produce globally competitive deep-tech companies with real, repeatable exit pathways, driven by strong alignment with enterprise demand across international markets.

CloudSEK continues to expand its global footprint, with a growing presence across the United States, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. With research and development anchored in India, the company represents a new generation of deep-tech platforms solving complex, global cybersecurity challenges while building from India for the world.
